Bad news

Dear Family and Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that we learned yesterday that Molly's disease has continued to progress even through all of the chemotherapy that she has received.  Her bone marrow has 50% blasts.

We are still processing this news, but the basic plan is for her to receive her baby cells today. She started hyperbaric oxygen therapy last night and will continue with this while it makes her feel good. She will be coming home on hospice tomorrow and we are working with the hospital, palliative care and hospice to make the experience as smooth as possible.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Molly really wants to be able to see and hug the people that have meant so much to her in her life. Our dear friends are organizing a celebration of life party for Saturday. We will send out more details when we have it, but the idea is that people can come and talk to Molly and say goodbye. I know this may sound odd, but we (and she) think it is what she wants.

We love you all and thank you for being there for us.

Emilie, Aaron, Xander and Molly
