Forever in our hearts
Molly Jean Salsitz
July 14, 2006 - June 13, 2022
In February 2022 we all came together to honor and celebrate Molly at her life party. This will be how we will remember Molly, having been able to hug her and appreciate her wonderful humor and beautiful eyes. So many people would tell her.... "you have really beautiful eyes." She would smile, say thank you and we would wink at each other, because she would get this compliment multiple times per day. Her spirit will live on forever in our hearts.
In keeping with Molly's wishes, her body has been delivered to Recompose in Washington State and will be transformed into soil. In about 7-10 weeks, we will receive the soil back in Ann Arbor and will have a private tree planting ceremony in her honor.
We would like to thank Mary Ochalek from Ochalek Stark Funeral Services in Milan. Mary has assisted our families with nearly every death that I have been a part of over the past 22 years. She is caring, compassionate, and kind and has worked so closely with us to make sure our wishes are met.
In lieu of sending flowers, please consider a gift in Molly's honor to her favorite charity, the Oxford Kids Foundation. Not only did they help Molly have some real quality of life at the end, she was riding a bike! OKF was also key in helping Xander survive and make it to where he is today. We are forever grateful for their support of our family.
Peace and Love,
Emilie, Aaron and Xander

ReplyDeleteWe grieve with you the loss of Molly. Her valiant battle was an inspiration to me, as is the courage of her family. Praying to our loving, faithful Jesus at this time when things do not make sense.
ReplyDeleteI have just received word of Molly’s passing from Grandpa Howie. In the brief time I followed her journey with him my own life was blessed by sharing her indomitable spirit. Wise beyond her years she has chosen to enrich the earth ; her spirit will continue to enrich all who knew and knew of her. You brought into the world a beautiful soul ; I wish you peace . ❤️
