Thankful
Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving,
We are very pleased that Molly has been discharged and got to spend Thanksgiving at home! Discharge day turned into a day of extreme port issues which lasted over 7 hours to determine that Molly's port needs to be shut down and not used. She will be getting a Tri-Star line for the next round and transplant.
She has been enjoying some time at home and simply resting. Dark room, warm bed, no one bothering her...ahhh. She has also been spending time with the dogs which bring her great joy.
If all goes as planned, she reports back on 12/6 for round 2. Otherwise, she is in clinic twice next week.
We enjoyed a lovely and delicious Thanksgiving meal from a family that constantly inspires us :-) Thank you SO MUCH to every one of you that worked so hard to do this for us 💕 it really lowered my/our stress level A LOT and we all really enjoyed ourselves.
Also, we had a couple of birdies stop by to pickup all of the leaves in our yard a few days ago - a shout out and huge thank you for this lovely work. Another stress off our plate.
Had to share the awesome Lego Bonsai Tree that Molly did in her last days inpatient. There are technically 101 birds in this set!
To everyone that has sent cards, meals, gift cards, love, prayers and positive energy... We need you and we are very thankful for you!
Peace and Love,
Emilie
I am so glad that Molly was able to come home and be with all of you for thanksgiving and the dogs. Thank you for all of these updates. Molly seems to have a great care team around her including you as her advocates.
